People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) deserve access to higher education to expand career opportunities and community engagement.
Oregon lacks consistent college pathways for people with IDD. We need consistent and inclusive pathways to and through college for people with IDD.
We are here to develop a coalition and push for colleges and universities to develop inclusive programming and push the State of Oregon to live up to its promise of inclusion and equity for all people.
Our Vision
We are a diverse coalition of self‑advocates, family members, caregivers, and professionals dedicated to advancing access to higher education for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
United by lived experience and shared purpose, we believe college is a powerful pathway to economic independence, social connection, and personal growth.
Our work centers on supporting individuals with IDD to engage meaningfully and reach their fullest potential in their lives, communities, and careers.
